A handsome and well-proportioned set of eight early 19th century Regency dining chairs, dating to circa 1825 and crafted in solid mahogany with finely figured rosewood inlaid detail. The set comprises six single chairs and two armchairs (carvers), offering a complete and highly usable dining suite of classical Georgian elegance.

Each chair is distinguished by its turned and rope-twist horizontal back rail, a design feature closely associated with the late Georgian and Regency period and prized for its sculptural quality and refined craftsmanship. The uprights are neatly reeded, framing the twisted rail, while the gently curved backs provide both visual harmony and comfortable support.

The seats are solid timber with subtly shaped fronts, raised on elegant turned and ringed legs terminating in tapering feet.
