A superb Antique Georgian George III Period Mahogany Chest on Chest, dating from around c.1800, displaying exceptional craftsmanship, fine proportions, and rich patina. Constructed in two parts for ease of movement, this tallboy is crafted from beautifully figured mahogany with boxwood and marquetry inlay to the frieze, featuring decorative flower-head motifs and a finely carved dentil cornice.

The upper section houses two short over three long drawers, while the lower section includes three deeper drawers, each retaining their original oval brass handles and escutcheons. The drawers are oak-lined and hand-dovetailed, reflecting the meticulous quality of Georgian cabinetmaking. The chest stands elegantly on shaped bracket feet, all in sound original condition with a warm, waxed finish.
