Antique Georgian Country Oak Leather Settle Bench Pew, c 1790

An excellent example of a solid oak Oak Leather Settle Georgian country oak and leather settle, dating from the late 18th century. Exquisitely carved four paneled pack, over shaped arms, solid plank bench seat with horse hair filled chestnut leather seat pad. Cabriole front legs, stile legs to the rear. Solid and sturdy piece displaying excellent colour and patination throughout.
