Antique George III Mahogany Linen Press Tallboy Chest of Drawers, c 1820
A fine example of a solid cuban mahogany linen press, dating from the early 1800s. Flush moulded cornice, dentil carved frieze. Double architrave panelled doors, displaying fine flame mahogany.
Two short over two large graduated frieze drawers. Intact cock beading. Brass escutcheons and pressed brass handles. Surmounted on by ogee bracket feet.
The interior cupboard space benefiting from sliding linen drawer. Excellent colour and patination throughout. No ibbles or chips to speak of.
