Vintage Painted Verdigris Green Painted Serving Sycamore Server Serving Kitchen Island Bar Table. L139

This striking vintage sycamore serving table dates from the early to mid-20th century and offers both rustic practicality and decorative charm. Originally designed as a work or serving table, its compact proportions make it highly versatile, ideal as a freestanding kitchen island, bar table, or console in a country house, farmhouse, or modern interior.

The table retains a wonderful distressed verdigris green paint finish to the base, full of patina, texture, and layers of age. The sycamore top, worn to a naturally pale surface, provides a tactile contrast that speaks to years of use. Two drawers with simple wooden knobs sit beneath the top, offering practical storage for cutlery, utensils, or linens. Shaped corner brackets and a box stretcher base add strength while enhancing its rustic aesthetic.

At just under 1.4 metres in length, this table is both functional and space-saving — large enough for preparation or service, yet compact enough to suit a variety of settings. Its robust construction makes it equally at home in a busy kitchen, as a drinks or serving station, or as an eye-catching display table in a retail, café, or bar environment.

A charming, characterful piece of furniture that blends functionality with vintage appeal.
